Couple highlights that we will have:
USSR will have teleportation to the objectives
Objectives will have manual capture point. After capturing the teleportation is disabled for that objective. Also US being nearby the objective will disable the teleportation momentarily.
USSR will have construction trucks for building fortifications
Rearming helicopters will consume supplies from the base. Base supplies will regenate slowly which will limit amount of rockets available for US choppers.
Also there will be more ammunition available for infantry that also cost supplies
Following the Soviet offensive known as Operation Green Valley, the Red Army seized control of southern Everon in a surprise thrust designed to cut NATO supply lines and establish a forward staging area. The attack pushed U.S. and NATO forces to the brink, but determined counterattacks and heavy air support enabled the Americans to wrestle back control of the Green Valley.
Now, with the southern sector secure, U.S. Command has ordered the 82nd Airborne and attached Marine contingents to press the advantage northward. Their objective: capture the strategic town of Montignac, a vital road junction that links Everon’s interior with coastal resupply routes. If Montignac falls, Soviet forces in the western half of the island will be cut off and forced into retreat.
The Soviets, aware of Montignac’s importance, have entrenched themselves deeply. Defensive lines stretch from Morton through Provins to the outskirts of Montignac itself. Expect sandbag emplacements, trench networks, and hardened firing positions designed to bleed the U.S. advance. Reinforced by mechanized infantry and supported by ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun, the defenders are determined to make every kilometer costly.
To break the deadlock, U.S. forces will employ two UH-1 Huey gunships, tasked with providing close air support and suppressing enemy strongpoints. These helicopters are a force multiplier—but their effectiveness will depend on neutralizing Soviet AA positions.
The assault will begin at dawn. Infantry units will advance along the valley approaches, while armored elements push up the main roads. Air cavalry will circle overhead, striking whenever Soviet defenses reveal themselves.
The mission’s success hinges on rapid, coordinated action: push through Morton, secure Provins, and finally take Montignac before the Soviets can reinforce. Every hour wasted risks a counterattack from Red Army reserves.
Failure means the Soviets retain control of Everon’s heartland—threatening to reignite the Cold War into a full-scale confrontation.
