Sometime during the 2010's.

Background
Civil war rages in Afghanistan. Alpha, a ranger troop in the Afghan National Army, has been tasked with making a decisive strike at a small town recently captured by the Taliban. With a map doodled on by locals and by the CIA the men mount their pickup trucks and load their funny mix of western and eastern weapons.

Mission
1. Destroy the enemy force guarding the Tribal Leader's House and guarantee the tribal leader's safety.
2. Capture the ANA Vehicle Service Depot.
3.Capture the Ammunition Caches and defend it until relieved.
(The US is helping us out but extra ammo never hurts).

Enemy forces
The enemy consists of infantry irregulars supported by static weapons (recoilless rifles, machine guns) as well as light vehicles. Locals tell us that there is at least one old Soviet armoured vehicle operating in the area.
The enemy's most likely course of action is to attempt to fix you with small mobile infantry elements so that he can perform flanking attacks or engage you with static weapons.

Alpha is supported by Victor, a M1117 Guardian equipped with a machine gun and a grenade shooter thingamajig. (Granatspruta???)
Alpha has access to a large amount of pickup trucks and has an MSP-truck.
Alpha has approximately a platoon's worth of reinforcements but these may suddenly be pulled away at some point.
