Detta är ett joint Op med 2nd Battalion, Nord Brigade som kommer spela den Norska delen av styrkan.

-Situation-
The norwegian registered container ship Thorvald Viking have been hijacked when sailing to close to the african coast. The ship have since then been moved by the hijackers to the island of Wamako were its now is anchored outside the town of Bakunga. The crew was a mix of norwegian and swedish sailors and those have all been taken as hostages. The hijackers are demanding a ransom of 50 miljons US and have released pictures of when they execute the ships captain. Nether the Norwegian or Swedish government is willing to give in to the hijackers demands instead a joint Swedish Norwegian special forces unit have been formed from personnel that was already in Wamako as part of the UN peacekeeping mission there and is now preparing to liberate the hostages and take back the ship.

-Mission-
The main goal with the mission is to find and liberate the hostages.
Secondary goal is take back the Thorvald Viking from the hijackers.

Through analysis of the crew members' social media, we have been able to note that on all images from the ship, the crew has been wearing red reflective vests.


We have got this picture through a local source. The picture represents the way the ship looked yesterday. With the help of the shipping company we have been able to add some info to the picture.
